Raspisnoy press kit
Raspisnoy is a non-commercial one-developer project: the digital home of "Raspisnoy poker", a folk card game that never had written rules. An online game, a Telegram Mini App, an interactive academy and an offline scorekeeper for the live table.
The project in one paragraph
Raspisnoy poker (also Odessa poker, student poker, "Joker") is a game of tricks and exact bids that was played for decades in dormitories, courtyards and trains across the post-Soviet world — the Russian branch of the Oh Hell family. Its rules were passed on by word of mouth and differ from city to city. Raspisnoy reassembles the game: rules and scoring verified against real game records, a free online version with no stakes (browser, Telegram, Discord), a teaching academy and a scorekeeper for playing with a real deck.

Stories we can back with material
- A game without a canon: what "rescuing" an oral folk game looks like — collecting regional rule variants and an honest matrix of the differences.
- Engineering: one deterministic engine and five surfaces — browser, Telegram, Discord, PWA, and an offline iOS prototype over Bluetooth.
- LLM experiments: a harness in which language models play Raspisnoy against each other — with a reproducible method and data.
